Kathleen Grace, CFP®, CIMA®, is a Managing Director of United Capital Financial Advisers. Ms. Grace advises affluent families, Fortune 500 executives, entrepreneurs, and institutions throughout the country on all facets of financial and estate planning, helping them chart a financial course for lifetime wealth creation.
With over twenty-three years of extensive experience, Ms. Grace began her career working with Commodity Futures at the Chicago Board of Trade. Ms. Grace has also held executive positions with RSM McGladrey, Inc., Capital Planning Group, Merrill Lynch Private Client Group, and Citigroup.
Ms. Grace earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Finance from the University of Miami and completed her CFP® curriculum at Nova Southeastern University School of Business. Ms. Grace has been a guest lecturer on a variety of financial topics to groups and universities including the Wayne Huizenga Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship. In addition, Ms. Grace was awarded the CIMA® designation presented by the Investment Management Consultants Association with education and curriculum through the Wharton School of Business. The CIMA® designation is a professional designation exclusively for investment management consultants and is the only financial services credential accredited by the American National Standards Institute. Ms. Grace served as a subject matter expert for the CIMA® certification exam.
Ms. Grace was honored in the class of 2016 as Influential Business Woman of the Year by the South Florida Business Journal. She is a frequent contributor to print, radio, and television media. Ms. Grace currently serves as Executive Board Member and Co-Chair of the Starfish Circle Initiative of Women In Distress, as former Florida Atlantic University Foundation Board Member and Chair of the Investment Committee, as former Advisory Board Member for the Broward Bank of Commerce, and actively supports the Unicorn Children’s Foundation. Ms. Grace is also the author of Amazon best-seller, Prince Not So Charming®, a financial planning novel.
